Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)

Plot: Sixth in the series and the fifth to feature the character of Michael Myers. It has been six years since both Michael and Jamie disappeared from Haddonfield’s Police Station. Now, in 1995, the kids of Haddonfield want to have parties on Halloween Night again after their parents have banned it since the incidents of 1988 (H4) and 1989 (H5). Meanwhile, Jamie has been raped by a cult but manages to escape with her new-born baby. But Michael in hot pursuit. The Strode family has moved into the Myers’ house, in an attempt to break the curse and to finally sell the house. But daughter Kara Strode has problems with her son, Danny Strode who is haunted by the Man in Black (from H5). Help is at hand though from not only Dr. Loomis but also from an unexpected source, Tommy Doyle (one of the two child survivors from H1). Tommy has grown up and has researched into Michael’s madness and he might have the answer…

Have you seen "Halloween 6: The Producers Cut" The Curse of Michael Myers?
This is the real version of Halloween 6 that was suppose to be released before they cut out all of the good stuff and changed the true ending.
This version is so great, it finally answers SO many questions that we have always had about Michael. Like why does he have all of this power? and what is this evil Force that is inside of him which keeps him alive all of the time. And why is he always trying to kill his family members? And why does he only have this power on certain halloween nights and not others? How did Michael get to be this way? And on and on.
So many questions that have been raised in Halloween 1.2,4 and 5 were all finally answered in this version of Halloween 6!
Has anyone else been lucky enough to see it?
yes Paul Rudd, but not the version that was in theaters though, this is the original version that was not officially released, but it might be someday
sWhite: yeah I have read many interviews with ferrand and he had many different versions with different endings possible. And other great idea’s that never made it.
they should find a way to release it though, so many people need to see it. I was always frustrated not knowing the truth about Myers. this version answered everything

You bet I have! I have two copies of this very special version! And you are right, it was so cool to finally have all of my questions answered after having wondered about all of that for so many years from the first movie on. He was obviously not human at all from the very first movie in so many ways.
So I always wondered what was in him that made him so powerful and why? And why was he dormant except on certain Halloween nights only and why kill his family members, etc I thought it was so cool to finally have answers that suddenly made everything make sense!

I hated Halloween 4, 5, and 6. Easily the worst sequels made for the Halloween franchise.

Yeah, I saw it and I have 6 different versions of it. There’s the producer’s cut, director’s cut, tv cut, rough cut, spliced version and unspliced version. I also have this 45 minute behind the scenes DVD. The producer’s cut was a lot better than the theatrical version, but it was nowhere near what Daniel Farrands (the writer of H6) wanted. They were working on getting an official release, but Disney said no.
